This would only impact these people around New Year's. Dec 30 - Saturday Dec 31 - Blankday Jan 1 - Sunday Jan 2 - Monday Would Monday be a holiday? Possibly. New Year's Day is normally a holiday and so when it falls on a Sunday we normally get that Monday off instead. So this would mean that they have a four day weekend over New Year's.
